Dr. Jeff Kaplan helped cofound MBS after fifteen years as President and Senior Executive Coach for Interpersonal Growth Workshops, Inc., a leadership development firm located in suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In his role as senior executive coach, Jeff worked wth directors and senior level executives of medium and large sized companies across the United States and Europe. He used his “heart based leadership” approach to help managers and executives maximize the value of a companies’ most important asset, its people.
Initially trained as a scientist-practioner, Jeff draws on emotional intelligence research and psychological assessments to help clients identify and understand their strengths and the emotional blocks that interfere with their ability to achieve desired results. He then helps clients design and implement an individualized, concrete plan to maximize effectiveness. Through his research, writing, teaching, and practical experience working with thousands of people across the world, Jeff developed a theory of creating sustained behavior change that has helped his clients achieve results in areas that they had previously been unsuccessful. Using his unique approach to change behavior, Jeff teamed up with successful entrepreneur Steve Baumgartner and renowned integrative cardiologist Robert Bulgarelli to create the foundation for MBS. Jeff has received local and national media coverage for his work.
